Hi, I’m Jason Garner and I live in Torquay, south west England.
I’m 41 years old and am married with three children. Before becoming a language teacher at Churston Ferrers Grammar School, I worked as a conference interpreter, translator and proofreader in Helsinki. My family has a strong connection with Finland and we go back as often as we can.
I’m crazy about jazz piano and sports – especially sports involving the sea. In my spare time I spend as much time as I can at the beach.
For as long as I can remember I have been writing. Up in our attic there are piles of exercise books filled with half-finished ideas for books. In 2004 I finished a draft of a novel about time and self-learning, entitled The Mirror Children. It has long been a dream of mine to find out how digital publishing works and get it out there.
